🔍 Exploring Amazon's 5-Round BIE Interview Process! 🔍 🚀 Reflecting on My Amazon BIE Interview Journey! 🚀Step one: The Screening Rounds! 💼 Embarking on my Amazon BIE interview journey kicked off with the critical first step – the Screening Rounds. 🎯 These rounds serve as the gateway to Amazon's dynamic team, designed to assess technical acumen and alignment with Amazon's high standards.Navigating through these rounds, I encountered a series of challenging technical assessments tailored specifically for the role of a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE). 1. SQL Mastery: The journey began with a deep dive into SQL, where I was tasked with writing statements incorporating powerful window functions. From calculating moving averages to ranking data within partitions, these questions truly tested my SQL proficiency! 2. Union vs. Union All:Another critical aspect assessed was my understanding of SQL operations. I had the opportunity to explain the key differences between UNION and UNION ALL, showcasing my knowledge of data manipulation techniques. 3. Case Statements: Crafting SQL queries using CASE statements was another highlight of the interview process. I demonstrated my ability to manipulate data based on specific conditions, showcasing my problem-solving skills. 4. Cumulative Sum:Calculating cumulative sums using SQL was also on the agenda. I showcased my proficiency in leveraging SQL functions to derive meaningful insights from datasets, a crucial skill for any BIE role. 5. These new instances are designed to deliver superior performance for workloads that require large amounts of memory, including Electronic Design Automation (EDA), in-memory databases & caches, relational databases, real-time analytics, and memory-constrained microservices. What makes X8g instances special? Exceptional Memory Performance: X8g instances boast a 16:1 ratio of memory to vCPU, the highest memory ratio offered by Amazon EC2 to date. Enhanced Processing Power: The Graviton4 processors deliver up to 60% better compute performance compared to X2gd instances. Improved Efficiency: X8g instances are Amazon's most energy-efficient instances thus far, thanks to the Graviton4 processors.
