I think that subnautica below zero hate is very forced. people just expected to feel the same as when they played it for the first time but that's just not possible. only valid excuse is slower movement.

Just kinda bad, uninspired small map that doesn't blend together between ecosystems well. Annoying and tedious leviathan and sea life that takes away from the atmosphere and fear that the first game created.

I love Subnautica, but Below Zero is just kind of disappointing. Without Spoiling anything story or character related, here are some Pros and Cons of the game.

Pros:
• Wonderful underwater biomes that captivated me every time I saw them.
• PDA logs with interesting stories.
• Most creatures had beautiful and inspired designs.
• Building blueprints are much easier to get, allowing base design right away.

Cons:
• Main character feels disconnected from the world she's placed in.
• Felt very disconnected from the main characters motivations and story, making any info I gained on said story more of a chore than a curious interest.
• New PDA voice is annoying, and an unnecessary change from the previous title.
• The underwater section feels smaller, with less substance.
• The land based arctic section, which should be the main appeal of the game, has almost nothing of interest, and places clear stopgaps to pad out exploration.
• Many BP's are so spread out and difficult to find, that its just not worth searching.
• They removed the hull reinforcement and stasis rifle BP from the previous game, to try and prevent players from "dealing with" unwanted creatures. (still did it though, lol)

In conclusion, game bad.
