Heya, earlier in the chat you asked a few questions about The Division. Grinding to get Elite gears is worth it. When you grab your hands on one, you can defeat pretty much anything with so much ease, even if you are about 20 levels higher than the current weapon you use, it is taking a while before it is time for you to switch for another weapon better than the Elite type. Same with gears. The better they are, the more protected or strong you will become. Some stats affect your damage per seconds and damage dealed, some affect your skill efficency and some affect your protection and health. Some gears have sides effect, negative/positive.
