We are thrilled to announce that Ljiljana Durdevic has been invited to give a lecture at CERN as part of a two-day training course organized through the EU-funded AIDAinnova project and represent #HamamatsuPhotonics on such a global stage. 🌍 📅 Learn more about the event below and register to join: https://lnkd.in/dTK2W_jQ Cheers to Ljiljana as she contributes to building bridges between High Energy Physics and Quantum applications —an inspiring step toward science and collaboration! 🙌 #CERN #AIDAinnova #QuantumApplications #HighEnergyPhysics #Collaboration
At CERN, we design and develop cutting-edge detectors and readout electronics to meet the demanding needs of High Energy Physics experiments. Often pushing the boundaries of technology, these detectors have applications far beyond physics, extending into various fields of science. To encourage collaboration between High Energy Physics and Quantum applications, we are announcing a two-day training course on January 23 and 24, organized as part of the EU-funded AIDAinnova project. 📅 Event Details & Registration: https://lnkd.in/dX_tMU95 (Note: The registration deadline has been extended!) A special thanks to Andrei Nomerotski (CTU), Lorenzo Cortese (ICFO), Sara Pellegrini (STMicroelectronics), Massimo Caccia (Universita degli Studi dell Insubria), Daniel J. Egger (IBM), Boris Korzh (University of Geneva), Perceval Coudrain (CEA), Jan Theodor Janssen (National Physical Laboratory), José Alejandro Rubiera Gimeno (DESY), Ljiljana Durdevic (Hamamatsu), Michael Campbell (CERN), Thanushan Kugathasan (University of Geneva), Alberto Gola (FBK) and Edoardo Charbon (EPFL) for sharing their expertise as lecturers for this course. The organizing committee, we look forward to help building bridges between these exciting fields—don’t miss out! 🌟
