🚀 How to Increase Maximum Scan Volume in Computed Tomography? 🚀 In the early days of industrial CT, detector size limited scan volume, requiring objects to stay within the beam cone to avoid artifacts. Today, advanced techniques like detector shifts, extended field-of-view, and innovative image processing are breaking through these barriers, enabling larger, more detailed scans than ever before. 👉 Learn more about how these advancements are reshaping industrial CT in our latest blog post: https://shorturl.at/WxpZ9. #inspectionstartshere #IndustrialCT #ComputedTomography #CTScanning #innovations

Multispectral imaging is NOT the same as hyperspectral. A true hyperspectral imaging solution will check these boxes: - Hyperspectral imaging reflects light from specialized lamps onto the product being inspected as it travels on a conveyor belt. - The reflected light is then sent through a high-efficiency holographic grating in the spectrometers (think of it like a prism). - The information generated by the reflected light is recorded by a high-speed camera in 500 different continuous wavelengths. - This creates “chemical fingerprints” of whatever is on the conveyor belt, including the product and any foreign materials present. Explore the capabilities of each technology and how they compare in this post on our website: https://bit.ly/3oVdAd3

Constant velocity scanning imaging is often used when the throughput needs to be maximized and if the image sensor technology can support it. This technique, also referred to as “time delay and integration” (TDI) imaging, generally requires a charge-coupled device (CCD) sensor that will be continuously illuminated while images are continuously acquired. Watch the video with Kevin McCarthy to see how TDI imaging works. #TDI #TimeDelayIntegration #TDIimaging #DNASequencing

Time Delay Integration (TDI) imaging enhances image quality and sensitivity in high-speed scanning applications by synchronizing the movement of the imaging sensor with the moving object, allowing for the accumulation of multiple exposures into a single, high-resolution image. Trigger on Position (TOP) is the critical technology enabling TDI imaging as it enhances the precision and accuracy of high-resolution imaging. Watch our video to learn about subdivisional accuracy and cyclical errors and see how our innovative solutions improve performance in the most demanding applications. #microscopy #engineering #biomedicalimaging #lifesciences
