The Neo Forza MARS 64GB 4000MHz C19 DDR4 memory kit does really tick all the necessary boxes: a ton of capacity, high frequency, low enough timings to keep a good balance between mobo compatibility and bandwidth but also RGB eye-candy, which can be driven via most motherboard utilities from the various manufacturers.

Packaging, A Closer Look

Another RGB RAM kit has arrived at our test labs and this one is very interesting because of the high frequency, low latencies but also the very high capacity. To be more exact, we are talking about the MARS 64GB kit from Neo Forza, clocked at 4000MHz via XMP 2.0 profile, while the CAS latency is set at 19. For compatibility reasons, the kit will default at 2666MHz so most systems will be able to boot at this speed without any issues, but at XMP, the RAM kit will be operated at 1.4V, so we would recommend a decent airflow inside the case. Could we say that the kit is RGB-enabled and can be controlled by most motherboard manufacturer software such as ASRock Polychrome Sync, ASUS Aura Sync, RGB Fusion 2.0 from Gigabyte, MSI Mystic Light Sync and so on?

The kit is shipped inside a compact cardboard enclosure with a small window; here Neo Forza mentions the operating frequency but also the fact that we are dealing with a RGB-enabled product:

On the side, the manufacturer notes this kit as an overclocked product:

The back side does show the technical specifications of various kits depending on the operating frequency, but also the in-depth features:

After removing the top cardboard packaging layer, we will note that the kit stands secure inside an additional transparent plastic mold:

The MARS modules look great even before enabling the RGB feature! The heatsink is made from two aluminum layers, one being dark grey and the other black:

To fit in with the rest of the color scheme, the PCB is also black:

In the middle, we will find the Neo Forza logo, with a triangular shape:

Another logo is present near the top, on a black frame and is also RGB enabled:

The parallel cuts on the top brushed aluminum do offer a view of the black layer underneath:

The lower part of the heatsink comes with different shapes as well:
