In the box
This is a microATX board (24.4cm x 24.4cm), but despite its small size it has good upgrade and expandability options. It’s an all in one offering;
A 16x PCIe slot allows you to install a high end card and enjoy a serious graphics power boost. The onboard VGA is X300, not bad, but not for the serious gamer either.
You can connect up to 4 SATA devices, and there are also 2 PATA and 1floppy connector. The North and Southbridge have a passive heatsink which makes this a very silent motherboard; temperatures of the heatsinks never went over 40°C
4 memory slots allows a maximum of 4GB installed, PC2100/PC2700/PC3200 speeds supported
Now we come to the CPU overclocking sensible area, the power to the CPU is regulated by the caps around the socket; most of these are Japanese OST; their quality is acceptable.
