The LIVESTRONG themed case from Otterbox takes part of their Commuter Series of cases and it comes with two layers, made from silicone and a durable polycarbonate outer shell. The product supports a noble cause and that is to inspire and empower anyone affected by the cancer disease and will provide funding for RadioShacks' $6 million commitment to support LIVESTRONG and fight against cancer.

The LIVESTRONG iPhone 4 / 4S case from Otterbox comes in a casing with a different design, which is better looking and quite more durable compared to the cardboard version. On the frontal side we can see how the case really looks like, and on the opposite side we’ll get the specifications list:
The case is also provided with a small handle for display purposes along with an authenticity sticker:
Inside, the case is further protected inside a transparent plastic mold:

The case has enclosed a small envelope with the usual protective screen, installation instructions, soft cloth for wiping the residues and the squeegee for eliminating the remaining air bubbles:
LIVESTRONG case is made from two separate parts, the inner layer made of durable silicone and the outer layer from a high-quality polycarbonate:
The case comes with protection against dust and damages for all ports; in the next photo we can note the Data/Charge connector cover:
The laterals sport similar designs, with the exception of the left volume button covers and the clearance for the Mute switch:
On the top we’ve got the cover for the Sleep/Wake button, along with the cover for the audio jack and the orifice for the second speaker:
The back side comes with the orifice for camera lens and flash LED:
The secondary layer (polycarbonate) adds strength to the case and must be mounted after the initial layer has been installed on the phone; here are some snapshots of it from different areas:
On the back, we have the LIVESTRONG logo, along with the Otterbox company name:
The silicone layer can be installed on the phone quite easily and it’s very flexible:
The first layer of the case allows us to eject the SIM tray without removing it from the phone:
With the second layer attached, the installation is completed; for an easier fit, we recommend the users to fix it starting from the top of the phone, with the audio jack cover plugged in. The frontal glass screen is protected by both layers of the case:
On the case laterals we will see a combination of the silicone layer (which will mostly cover the phone ports and buttons) and the polycarbonate. Thanks to the hard plastic, the case is not hard to remove from the pocket (does not stick to the interior) as some cases that are made only of silicone from other manufacturers:

The case is also accompanied by a clear self-adhering protective film for the front touch screen of our iPhone 4/4S mobile phone.
The case is meant to protect against accidental bumps or shocks, but is not water proof. Thanks to the outside polycarbonate outer shell with a smooth finish, the phone is easy to remove from the pocket and it does not stick like other cases do.
