For the new Xperia Z mobile phone we can find quite a few protective cases available at different manufacturers made from polycarbonate or silicone that are quite cheap, but if we want to jump in a different league and acquire a product that matches the quality of the phone, one of the options would be Noreve. The case we will look upon in this article takes part from their Tradition series and is made from top quality handcrafted leather. The presentation is top-notch as we have seen previously at Vaja Cases, with a personalized external cardboard box:

With the phones installed, we can see the openings better; on the left side we can access the microSDHC card and also the charging port without any difficulties, with the case completely closed:

In order to be able to attach the metallic piece, we will first have to remove the protective branded screw, which acts as a cover:

 

 

 

Removing it will reveal a small hole and an X-shaped mechanism:

 

 

 

Thanks to the design, we can install the locking mechanism in any position we’d like:

The new Xperia Z Leather Case from Noreve will make your phone look even more professional and elegant, and also will take care of protecting it against scratches and other external factors. Manufacturers seem to create bigger and bigger phones nowadays and it is more uncomfortable to keep them inside our pocket. The belt clip mechanism is a welcome accessory for this matter and it can be installed in a couple of minutes. However, in order to make sure that the metallic piece won’t fall off the case, we’ll have to secure the screw properly.

 

While using the case along with the clip accessories for about a week, we have seen that small dust particles still deposit on the sides of the phone screen so we would have to clean it regularly. Also, the top cover opening procedure may delay us when responding to a phone call, until we get more used to the mechanism.

 

The customization possibilities for this case are rich, with different types of finishes and colors. For the Z we also have available a Tradition B case, which opens from the side, like a book, but this one does not have options of mounting a belt clip mechanism.
