Cooler Master has recently entered another gaming audio segment by producing the CM Storm Pitch, which feature high-quality non-tangle cables (with a catchy red color) and adapter for connecting to our PC (separate microphone/headphone jack ports). These are better to be used for gamers which are frequently on the move and use their smartphones/portable consoles for checking out the latest releases on the market.
At first we would like to thank Cooler Master for sending a sample of their CM Storm Pitch Gaming Earphones for testing and reviewing.

Besides the headset, we will also receive a Warranty Information card, one small carry pouch, an adapter but also some additional tips:
The carry pouch will help us transport the earphones everywhere while avoiding damages:
The additional tips come in small and medium sizes while the large model is pre-installed on the product; the extra adapter features split connections for both earphone and MIC for connecting to PCs or laptops:
The diameter of the earphone shell is quite large considering that we are dealing with only 10mm drivers:
On the top side of each earphone we will find the channel coding:
The tip can be removed quite easily in order to reveal the 10mm speakers:
Thanks to the good quality materials and finish, the earphones look very sturdy:

In order to obtain a comfortable fit, we have available to our disposal three sets of tips, the same way we have seen with the ANTEC a.m.p. “iso”.
On the wire we will find the small remote which contains the omni-directional microphone along with the call/answer button, which is easy accessible.
As expected, in our tests we have seen that the product is not able to produce the same amount of bass when compared with regular headsets, but the sound is of good quality and does not distort at higher volumes; however, due to the nature of these earphones, we never recommend using them at high volume levels because they could damage our hearing much faster than with on-ear headphones.
Besides the regular suite of games, TV shows and movies we have watched in order to get an idea of the rendered audio content, we have also performed a short 10-minute Skype conference where we could hear the person on the other side crystal clear and we were also heard with clarity during all this time. Depending on the internal/external sound card we may get mixed results, depending on the level of shielding of the cards; in our tests, the CM Storm Pitch was connected to the previously reviewed Creative Sound Blaster ZxR.
