The Lexar High-Performance microSDHC UHS-I 633x 32GB card is fairly priced and offers very good read/write performances for storing multimedia content at higher data rates. Lexar is also supplying a very good accessory with it almost for free (the USB 3.0 card reader) which helps transferring data at the maximum supported speeds.

Lexar were kind and offered us one of their latest microSDHC cards for testing, sporting the UHS-1 technology and having a total capacity of 32GB. The card does not come alone, but with a tiny USB 3.0 reader which is really, really handy. Both products are packed inside a slim cardboard case:

Let’s take a look at the tiny microSDHC card reader; this one sports a white/blue color scheme, along with the Lexar logo on top. A small hole is provided in the back for inserting a lanyard:

Coming back at the main product, the Lexar 633x 32GB microSDHC UHS-1 card, we will see that the manufacturer has color coded its body with a combination of black and blue:

To determine the flash drive read speeds, the HD Tune v5 utility was used:
To measure the real life performance, I have used the Total Commander application to copy to the flash drive and from the flash drive the same file and recorded the transfer speeds, when they have stabilized.

As the Silicon Power model we have tested before it, the Lexar High-Performance microSDHC UHS-I 32GB (633x) card brings very good performances to the table, regarding both read and write speeds and is fully backwards compatible with older hardware. To be more exact, while we did not reach the advertised 95MB/s speed, we were very close at about 91MB/s while reading data from the card, which makes it a little more faster than the Silicon Power variant.
What is to be appreciated is the fact that the card is also supplied with an USB 3.0 reader, considering that there are not a lot of products like this present on the market, many of them still featuring the older USB 2.0 bus, thus limiting the speed this card is capable of.
The tested product is available online 35 Euros, very close to the previously tested model and since it offers more performance we will surely provide it with the MadShrimps Performance award!
