Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth Review

Others by stefan @ 2014-12-10

Do not be deceived by the mousy look of the retro Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth retro alarm clock; thanks to the dual drivers, it is able to produce decent quality sound without distortions and at pretty high volumes. The bass is a little on the low side which is perfectly understandable but considering the overall size of the device, we cannot consider this as a negative point.

At first we would like to thank Edifier and Royal Computers (the distributor) for offering a sample of their Tick Tock Bluetooth for testing and reviewing.

Impressions and Conclusive Thoughts

Do not be deceived by the mousy look of the retro Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth retro alarm clock; thanks to the dual drivers, it is able to produce decent quality sound without distortions and at pretty high volumes. The bass is a little on the low side which is perfectly understandable but considering the overall size of the device, we cannot consider this as a negative point.

We have the choice of selecting from FM radio, which supports different bands depending on the area and the stations can be memorized during an automatic scan; if the FM radio is not enough, we have the option of connecting an auxiliary sound source via analog cable but we can also connect an external source via Bluetooth.

Speaking of the display, this is quite big and round and also comes with a dimming feature so it won’t wake up the owner with a bright LED backlight.

Of course, we can set up up to five alarms and also take advantage of the sleep functions.

The only negative point we see with this device is the fact that for Snooze function we need to press the top button pad right in center, which is not too productive, considering that when you push the Snooze button initially you could still feel a bit asleep and precision is not too great at that specific moment.

The cute Edifier Tick Tock Bluetooth alarm clock can be found online for about 69 Euros.
