Packaging, A Closer Look

The tiny U364 USB flash drive from Toshiba is shipped inside a simple cardboard packaging, which mentions the storage capacity of the SKU but we do also get a speed rating “Read Speed up to 120MB/s”:

On the back side of the enclosure, the manufacturer has detailed the actual quantity of free space after the drive has been formatted (usable capacity), along with the list of supported operating systems:

Conclusive Thoughts

The TransMemory U364 USB Flash Drive from Toshiba was thought as very compact storage device on the v3.0 bus and is compatible with most operating systems. It weighs just about 3 grams and is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB formats.

The U364 USB 3.0 transfer speeds are very much the same with the U363 model, which means around 90MB/s reads and 18MB/s writes; the write speed could be a little better, but if we are not transferring large files frequently, this could be considered a non-issue.

The 32GB variant of the drive can be bought for about 12.86 Euros, the 64GB version for about 23.36 Euros, while the 128GB can be had for about 42.9 Euros; for all models, we do get fair prices considering the transfer speeds of the product.
