Today’s product for review is a set of wireless in-ear headphones from 1MORE brand; these follow a water drop rounded design and also a carry case with the ability of fast charge. At just about 6.2 grams per headphone, these remain comfortable for longer usage patterns and the ease of use regarding the Bluetooth connection procedure really recommends them for general use.

 

The headphones do ship in a compact cardboard enclosure, highlighting the Design Award 2019 logo right on the top cover, along with the main product specifications:

 

 

 

This is the first Bluetooth set of headphones we are testing with Qualcomm aptX support; this technology ensures the highest possible sound quality from your audio device and at the same time it is bit-rate efficient. The tech does support 48kHz / 16bit LPCM audio data and a latency of less than 130ms:

 

 

 

On the back side of the box, we will be able to check out much more technical specifications regarding the product; here we will learn that with the headphones fully charged we can expect about 6.5 hours of use (55mAh battery capacity per unit). If the case battery (410mAh) is also fully charged, we can expect a total usage time of 24 hours, which is great!

Right after lifting the cover, we will get to see some interesting design drawings of the Stylish True Wireless headphones, which do remind us a bit of the Portal game drones; the charging case is placed separately so you can take a look at the beauty of the headphones chassis:

 

 

 

 

Besides the main product protective case, we will also receive a cardboard box with some extra bundle:

 

 

 

We have received the Gold variant of the headphones, but the Black, Green or Pink models are also available:

 

 

 

Each headphone internal board and battery are protected by a plastic part, that is covered by a Non-Conductive Vacuum Metallization layer, for providing a sleek metallic finish, but also a stable signal transmission. Talking about signal transmission, these have a LDS antenna underneath for ensuring a smooth connection for music and phone calls due to less interference. The current headphone status can be also monitored thanks to the included multi-colored LED:

 

 

 

For controlling the units we do have a multifunctional button available that is used for:

 

-turning the headset on or off

-getting it in pairing mode

-answering calls, hanging up or declining calls

-access multimedia controls such as Play/Pause/Next Track/Previous Track

-activate the smartphone voice assistant when Bluetooth is on and no music is playing in the background

 

 

 

The included MEMS microphone paired with DSP ENC (environmental noise cancellation) technology allows clear communication when in a call:

 

 

 

Each unit is equipped with two gold-plated contacts, for charging purposes:

 

 

 

In order to fit the headphones more securely, these are equipped with silicone O-hooks that are also marked with the L/R channel indicator:

 

 

 

On the 7-mm dynamic driver with titanium composite diaphragm we can spot the silicone ear tip, same color as the O-hook:

This is not all! 1MORE does also supply a small plastic carry bag, so you can bring all accessories with you, without losing stuff while traveling

 

 

 

The charging case can fill the batteries of the headphones up to four times and mainly features a plastic construction; a subtle 1MORE logo is available on the top cover:

 

 

 

In the front, we do get the button which must be pressed in order to lift the top cover, but also a red LED indicator; the red LED indicator will stay lit while the internal battery is charging and turn off afterwards:

 

 

 

In the back, we will be able to spot the USB port:

 

 

 

The bottom area of the unit shows the full manufacturer name:

 

 

 

The insides of the charging case have been perfectly tailored to fit the headphones in; we can observe the gold-plated contacts which also have magnets in order to maintain a secure connection:

 

 

 

We have the choice to use the supplied USB cable or another one that we have at our disposal:

 

 

 

Here is a view of the case, with the headphones fitted in; these have immediately started charging, by following the red LED indicators:

 

 

The manufacturer recommends having both case and headphones fully charged before the first use; the LEDs will turn off once charging has been completed:

 

 

As documentation, we will receive the User Manual in multiple languages, but also a Product Catalog:

 

 

Additionally, we will get one leaflet with a QR code in order to access more resources, another leaflet that explains the button functions, but also a very cute sticker:

 

 

For the initial setup, you will have to take both earbuds out of the charging case (considering that they have charged fully) and manually pair it with your device (smartphone for example). You will be able to connect to one of them, which we will call the Master earbud; each time, the earbud that boots first will be Master and the second one will connect to the Master directly, without additional interaction needed with the smartphone. If the Master is not found by one of the earbuds, it will go further in pairing mode automatically and connect to the smartphone as Master. Either way, we have found this procedure to be very simple and you can connect the second earbud to the Master earbud even when audio content is playing!

 

 

 

 

After connecting the headphones to our trusty Huawei P30 smartphone, we tested it while listening to multiple podcasts on SoundCloud but also on YouTube; considering the driver size, we were impressed with the overall sound quality this kit can deliver, including bass. This fact makes the Stylish True Wireless In-Ear an ideal companion while traveling to work or on vacation. If not both channels are needed, we can easily use a single channel and it will act like a regular hands-free kit; we could use the kit for about 6 hours at regular volume and the charging case will surely assist with its fast charge capabilities.

 

After charging for just about 15 minutes inside the case, we can use the headphones for about three hours! If a full charge is needed, then we will have to wait for about 85 minutes. Thanks to the included indicators, we will know when the charge is complete and the case was designed to be lightweight and compact in order to fit in your pocket.

 

With the included control button, we can access different multimedia functions, but also enable the Google/ iOS assistants when no content is playing in the background.

 

When taking phone calls, we could be heard clearly by the opposite

 

The 1MORE headphones also ship with extra sets of ear tips and O-hooks, in order to fit ears of any shapes or sizes.

 

If Android devices are covered by the aptX compatibility, this device does also support AAC so both ecosystems can enjoy high quality audio.

 

The only negative point we are seeing with this particular model is that the volume levels can be only adjusted from the sound source.
