We have received in our test labs yet another set of in-ear headphones from 1MORE; the main highlight of these is the active noise cancellation and voice enhancement options, which are great features to have when travelling in noisy environments. These features are achieved thanks to an integrated, dedicated TiinLab A2 chip, while for ensuring minimal leakage, the manufacturer does also offer a wide range of earbuds for replacement purposes.

 

The product is shipped in a similar packaging as we have seen with the Triple Driver BT In-Ear model, which is a stylish thick cardboard enclosure with a magnetic locking system. Right on the top cover, we will get to see some of the product highlights, along with a QR code that links the user to the 1MORE Assistant application:

First, we could remind of the leaflet with the QR code for the software application, a nice sticker with the company mascot, but also a product catalog:

 

 

 

Inside the catalog we take a look at more items 1MORE does have on sale:

 

 

 

The usage modes are described inside the manual and here we are also reminded of the Fast Charge capabilities of the product: for just 10 minutes of charging we will receive no less than three hours of use. For a full charge though you will have to wait for an hour and you will get a total time of seven usage hours:

As the previous set of in-ear headphones from 1MORE, these also charge via USB Type-C interface; the Type-C to Type-A non-tangle cable is also provided in the box:

 

 

Surprisingly, besides Bluetooth, the product can be also used via analog cable, thanks to the provided braided cable; while we can use the cable for connecting straight to laptops that feature combo ports, this item does also make use of the supplied adapter for use on airplanes:

 

 

The 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC set is using the neckband design, which also comes with the rechargeable battery and controls; the neckband can be easily flexed so the whole assembly could be easily fit into the provided carry bag:

 

 

The earbuds feature a high-quality aluminum construction, with the advertised dual-driver technology. The proprietary design comes with a titanium composite diaphragm for delivering the treble, while the bass is produced by the included dual PET layers. For minimizing the high-frequency signal distortions, the manufacturer has used a custom STA-1 A5C22 balanced armature, that also assists with the ANC features of the headphones. The small openings under the earpieces are basically additional microphones that help with the ANC functionality.:

 

 

 

 

 

The back side of the earpieces do have magnets, so they will provide a necklace-like fit when not in use:

 

 

 

After removing the pre-installed silicone earbuds, we will get to see that the Stereo channels are marked on the inside:

 

 

 

The inside of the driver is protected by a black metallic mesh:

 

 

 

The left side of the unit does hold all controls available to the user; on the top area we do have a switch for four different functionality modes (voice enhancement, ANC on, ANC with deep noise reduction, ANC off), the Power button that also has the function to enable/disable Bluetooth but also activate the voice assistant. Moving further to the end, we do have the status LED:

 

 

 

On the interior side, we have the Volume -/+ buttons, the microphone port but also the Play/Pause/Next Track/Previous Track multifunctional button:

The right side of the neckband does not feature any additional interfaces:

 

 

 

For optimal comfort, 1MORE does also supply a set of 10.5mm eartips, one set of 12.5mm and also a 15.5mm one. Ear secure hooks are also offered, from the same material, with dimensions of 23mm, 21.5mm, 19.5mm and also 18mm:

As mentioned before, we need to use the analog interface provided by the supplied cable in order to utilize the supplied flight adapter:

 

 

 

 

Right after powering on the 1MORE Dual Driver BT ANC, it was detected by our trusty Huawei P30 and prompted for pairing; this particular model does support Bluetooth 4.2 and the HFP/A2DP/AVRCP protocols. In terms of BT codecs, we are reminding SBC and AAC:

On the left side of the GUI, we will get to see some additional menus:

 

 

 

The Version Info area allows the user to check for additional updates and perform firmware upgrades straight to the headphones:

In order to adjust the audio output to our preferences, we can go ahead and choose on of the pre-defined EQ presets or build a custom 5-band EQ setting:

 

 

 

 

After switching between earbuds and choosing the ones that offer least leakage and best comfort, we have connected the unit to our Huawei P30 smartphone and watched various TV shows, YouTube clips and podcasts. We were quite amazed to see great sound delivery all across the board, including quite a bit of bass, which is not very frequent when working with in-ear headphones. The bass can be further enhanced by using the software application and even at higher volumes we did not encounter distortion. The use of the neckband does allow an optimal placement of the microphone, which can deliver clear voice to the person on the other side of the call, with little to no background noise.

 

While on the commute, by turning the ANC feature on, the engine noises are pretty much eliminated, but sometimes we could hear people if they would talk louder near us; when discussing with our friends or in conferences this feature is welcome and we can also choose the mode of filtration by choosing from one of the two available ANC modes.

 

We have tried to use the headphones with our laptop as well, by using the analog cable connection; in this mode, while the mids and highs were rendered just fine, we have observed less bass than on Bluetooth source. However, if you are using an analog device with more settings regarding the internal EQ, you could further customize the sound quality in this mode as well.

 

The fast charge capability is very welcome while on-the-go and 1MORE has not missed to include a carry bag, in order to keep your investment in mint condition for longer.

 

The Dual Driver BT ANC left us with a good impression, as the previously tested products from 1MORE. They offer good consumer products with premium materials and there is a wide range of models to choose from, depending on your needs.
