The entry-level headphones offering from 1MORE has recently received a revision, which includes Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and an in-line remote control. The product holds the EN1028BT code name, chambers built of aluminum alloy and 10mm Titanium dynamic drivers.

 

The Piston Fit Bluetooth headphones set is shipped inside a cardboard enclosure, that shows the product highlights right on the top cover:

 

 

 

On the back side, we will get to see the product specifications but also some details regarding the manufacturer:

 

 

 

Piston Fit Bluetooth is further kept secure inside a white plastic mold; we will also receive the product manual, along with a 1MORE catalog:

 

 

 

On the back of the white plastic mold we could spot the accessory box, which is glued very well to it:

 

 

 

The said box does contain the USB non-tangle charging cable, but also three sets of silicone ear tips:

 

 

 

 

Inside the manual, we will find the steps to connect to Bluetooth sound sources, but also how to operate the in-line remote:

 

 

 

As we have seen with the other products from 1MORE, the product catalog includes some of the other items that are currently being sold online, including the cute bear mascot:

Piston Fit Bluetooth does also employ a neckband design, but it is quite simplified:

 

 

 

The neckband rubber texture does prevent it from slipping during usage and at the same time it is very light:

 

 

 

The lightweight earbuds come with 45-degree oblique-angled nozzles for a comfortable and secure fit during use; on the exterior we can also see the grooves of the aluminum alloy chamber:

 

 

 

The 1MORE logo is also present on the body of the earbuds:

 

 

 

Two ports are clearly visible on the chassis of the earbuds as well, one on the aluminum chamber, and one on the plastic front cover. The front cover does also show the stereo audio channel, for a correct product usage:

 

 

 

 

Inside the chamber, the manufacturer has installed the frame along with the magnet, the voice coil, the PET diaphragm, on Titanium diaphragm and lastly the EQ cover:

 

 

 

The in-line remote is all-black and comes with the USB port for charging purposes:

 

 

With the respective buttons we can take phone calls, perform various playlist actions, increase/decrease volume or even activate the voice assistant, when no other Bluetooth audio is playing:

 

 

On the back of the remote we can also find the microphone port:

 

 

A similar plastic enclosure can be found on the other end of the neckband and we suppose that this is where the rechargeable battery is being held. Speaking of the battery, we do get 8 hours of continuous usage when the Piston Fit BT is fully charged, while the charging time is one hour. The rechargeable battery capacity is 130mAh and the usage time will surely be different, depending on the volume levels:

 

 

The chambers are also magnetic, so when the Piston Fit BT is not used, it will form a necklace-like shape for convenient storage:

 

 

 

The status LED is visible only when it gets lighted up, on the in-line remote:

 

 

 

On both our test laptop (DELL Inspiron 7577) and our trusty Huawei P30, Bluetooth pairing could be done in a matter of seconds:

 

 

 

 

Even if this aspect is not mentioned within the documentation, Piston Fit BT can be also operated inside the 1MORE Assistant application and we can take advantage of the features present with the more expensive models; the GUI will display the Smart Burn-In section as soon as the application gets launched:

Some EQ presets are available from within the application, but we can always define our custom 6-band preferences as well:

 

 

 

 

Right after fitting our preferred ear tips, we have started using the product while connected to both the laptop and our smartphone; thanks to its very low weight of just 18g, you can barely notice you are wearing it, while the soft grooved neckband did remain secure while talking some walks. Piston Fit BT can deliver a clean sound, with a decent amount of bass, which can be customized even further via the EQ settings. The voices in the movies and YouTube clips we did watch were clearly understandable and this is quite an advantage if you are using the headphones for lots of audio conferences as well.

 

Thanks to the small dimensions of the product, these are really easy to pack while on-the-go, so we can definitely recommend them while on the daily commute as well.

 

Despite the low price point, 1MORE does use the latest Bluetooth 5.0 interface with this product, but is backwards compatible with older devices as well. Regarding the Bluetooth codec, we can mention that this one supports only SBC, which is understandable for an entry-level product.

 

Regarding the price, the product can be picked up for about 29.99 Euros, which is a steal at the current moment.
