Silicon Power Blaze B03 USB 3.2 Gen1 Flash Drive Review

Other by stefan @ 2020-07-03

The Blaze B03 comes with a very stylish plastic chassis and offers an easy-to-use slider design, for protecting the USB connector. The transfer rates are good for a mainstream product and can be found with capacities of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. Thanks to the chosen material for the chassis, it weights only 13 grams and the product is also backed up by a 5-year limited warranty.

Packaging, A Closer Look

In this article we will concentrate upon another USB 3.2 Gen1 Flash Drive from Silicon Power, with a capacity of 64GB, which employs a sliding mechanism. The Blaze B03 is manufactured in both black and white colors and is shipped inside a simple cardboard enclosure, with a small plastic window:

On the back side we will get to see a small product description in multiple languages, the list of supported operating systems, some details regarding the Silicon Power Service Center but also the product code name and serial numbers:

Our white sample does reveal a glossed finish diamond-cut pattern on the front, which is quite stylish! Also here we will note the total capacity of the model, but also the compatible USB bus:

The plastic chassis does also feature an orifice for installing a lanyard or for attaching it to a keychain:

On the back, we will get to see a textured plastic pattern, but also the sliding mechanism:

The USB connector is fully protected inside the case, while the drive is in a “closed” position:

The “open” position does reveal the USB connector, for immediate drive use:
