The Share C20QC from Silicon Power offers enough juice for charging multiple devices at once, but also for powering action cameras such as the GoPro Hero series. It supports fast charge technologies such as Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery and incorporates protection technologies named by the manufacturer as smartSHIELD.

Introduction

We would like to thank at first Silicon Power for supplying their Share C20QC Power Bank for testing and reviewing.

Packaging, A Closer Look

Silicon Power has available a lot of products from different categories, a notable appearance being the Share C20QC Power Bank. The product offers a capacity of no less than 20000mAh and comes with technologies such as Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery in order to provide fast charging times with compatible gadgets and other mobile devices.

The product is shipped inside a medium-sized cardboard enclosure with a small window, highlighting the total output but also the quick charge capabilities:

The main product highlights are available as icons on the side of the packaging:

The back side of the box does show the input and also the output capabilities depending on the used voltage, the total charging time, the device dimensions (135.5 x 63 x 23.5 mm) but also the product weight (324g):

After unsealing the box, we will note the main product, which sits inside a transparent plastic mold, the charging cable but also a User Manual:

The manual does show the instructions regarding first charge, how the power bank is able to turn off after the devices have been fully charged but also how to read the LED display in order to find out of the remaining power:

The supplied charging cable is quite small and employs the Micro-B type, not USB-C:

The C20QC comes in an all-black plastic chassis, with a light texture; the top area only comes with a subtle SP logo but also the charging status LEDs, which we will show later:

A Closer Look Contd.

The product is noticeably thicker versus the GP28 we have reviewed earlier but it is understandable considering the double capacity:

The button on the side does help to “wake up” the power bank and check the charge level:

The charge level is noted by the four small LEDs in the top area; for 100% charge we have all four levels lit up, for >75% charge we do have three LEDs lit, for >50% charge we have two and for >25% we do have only one:

This power bank is equipped with two USB Type-A ports, one Type-C port and one Micro USB. The USB-A ports can be only used as output, the Type-C one can be used as both input and output, while the Micro USB is only available for input, meaning that we can charge three devices at the same time!

The back side of the power bank comes with the info regarding input and output but also logos of the supported standards:

Plugging in the devices for charging can be done in a few moments and at the same time, the status LEDs will stay lit, to have an idea over the remaining battery power:

Our trusty S21 started charging in Fast Charging mode without any issues:

Conclusive Thoughts

The Share C20QC from Silicon Power offers enough juice for charging multiple devices at once, but also for powering action cameras such as the GoPro Hero series. It supports fast charge technologies such as Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery and incorporates protection technologies named by the manufacturer as smartSHIELD.

The Li-Polymer internal rechargeable battery is protected by a plastic (ABS) shell and its total weight is about 324g. The chassis is quite compact so it would fit with ease in smartphone holders which you can attach to your bike.

For the C20QC, Silicon Power has gone for individual LEDs instead a full-digit display, which is less-precise versus the one we have seen with the GP28, but this should not be a con. If you cannot live without a display, then the QS28 could be a better choice for you.

The C20QC can be found online for about 21.6 Euros!
