In this review we will look at another KIOXIA memory card, but now in the regular SD format and sporting a total storage capacity of 1TB. The product takes part of the EXCERIA PLUS series, comes with features such as X-ray proofing, Overheating/Ignition prevention, ESD Immunity, and SKUs of 1TB do sport maximum read speeds of about 100 MB/s, while the writes are rated to about 85 MB/s.
The EXCERIA PLUS 1TB SDXC Card, which sports the UHS-I standard is shipped inside a plastic/cardboard enclosure, which is very thin and takes up very little space:
The back side does inform the user that the product is backed by a 5-year warranty, we will be informed regarding the rated read/write speeds, the main highlights, but we will also learn of the product code name and serial number:
The card features a catchy color scheme, considering the purple large sticker on top, along with the white plastic chassis; the sticker also comes with the supported speed standard logos:

The KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS 1TB SDXC Memory Card comes formatted exFAT; we have used a Silicon Power SPC39V1W USB 3.0 All-In-One Flash Memory Card Reader in order to perform the speed tests and formatted it NTFS:

To measure the real life performance, we have used the Total Commander application to copy to the card and from the card the same file and recorded the transfer speeds, when they have stabilized.

The card can be had with capacities ranging from 64GB and up to 1TB, but the rated speeds are a bit different; if we choose to go with the least-capacity one, the rated reads/writes are 98/65 MB/s, for 128GB we have 100/65 MB/s, while the 256GB, 512GB and 1TB SKUs are the fastest.
The KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS 1TB SDXC UHS-I U3 card can be found online for about 259 Euros.
