Macaulay Culkin Separates From Wife

Aug. 5 -- Child star Macaulay Culkin will be “alone” again.

The Home Alone star and hisactress-wife Rachel Miner reportedly have separated after two yearsof marriage.

The two live in New York City — Culkin is 19 and Miner 20. Theyhave no children.

Culkin spokesman Paul Bloch confirms for EntertainmentTonight that the couple is temporarily separated, saying “It is very amicable and they remain best offriends.” No reason is given for the split. Miner, also an actress, has appeared on the soap Guiding Light and on Broadway in The Diary of Anne Frank with Natalie Portman. Culkin is trying to restart his career, and is reportedly considering many projects — one of them is Diary of a Mad Freshman. Culkin and Miner met while attending New York’s Professional Children’s School and were married in June 1998. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
