  • Local SEO: This section of the course focuses on the basics of local SEO and why it’s important for your business. Lessons on location data management and reputation management feature the Moz Local tool, but the concepts and practices can be applied to other tools. We will also refer to Google My Business, Facebook, and Yelp.
  • Link Building: This section of the course covers what link building is and how to use knowledge of your business and community to build localized links. Lessons feature Moz’s Link Explorer tool, which is free to use with a Moz Community account. There are two optional lessons which are entirely tool-focused.
  • Social Media & Brand Awareness: This section of the course covers concepts around social media and brand awareness. It features Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
