But let's take a moment to reflect on the journey.
The idea for this acceleration program was planted by Artak Seyranyan, aiming to streamline connections with top-tier VCs. During our brainstorming session, Yaroslav Shakula saw the potential to create a truly valuable Web3 accelerator for early-stage builders.
Drawing from our own experiences in building products, we realized that if we had been accelerated early on, we could have avoided numerous mistakes and saved both time and money. In that moment the idea became a plan of action.
In October 2023, we launched the first cohort of our program. After careful research, we crafted the program's structure and opened applications. We were thrilled to receive over 100 applications! Our team of four, dedicated a week to thoroughly evaluate each applicant, selecting the top 20 projects to join our program. And so, our journey began.
Over 6 modules and 12 working weeks, we've worked tirelessly to refine the program. As this was our inaugural cohort, we knew perfection was a tall order, yet we gave it our all.
Reflecting on the program, it's been an incredible journey of growth and learning. We're already looking forward to making the next cohort even better than the last.
