🌞📚 We are pleased to announce the publication of our groundbreaking study, "Vitamin D Regulates COVID-19 Associated Severity by Suppressing the NLRP3 Inflammasome Pathway," in PLoS One. 🔬 This research focuses on how Vitamin D3 (VitD3) modulates immune responses, particularly in severe COVID-19 cases. 🍯🔬 "Oral administration of Manuka honey induces IFNγ-dependent resistance to tumor growth that correlates with beneficial modulation of gut microbiota composition" – our groundbreaking study published in Frontiers in Immunology reveals the potential of Manuka honey (MH) as a powerful immunomodulatory agent in colorectal cancer (CRC). 🧫🎗️ We discovered that oral administration of MH enhanced anti-tumor responses, leading to suppressed tumor growth in CRC-implanted mice. 🐁📉 This effect was accompanied by increased tumor immunogenicity, characterized by upregulated MHC expression on macrophages and tumor cells, and increased infiltration of effector T cells. 🦠🔍 MH was also effective when given therapeutically, and its immunomodulatory capacity was found to be dependent on IFNγ signaling. 💉🔬 Furthermore, our study revealed that oral MH treatment induced unique changes in gut microbiota composition, which may underlie the observed enhancement in tumor immunogenicity. 🦠🧬 These findings highlight the immense potential of MH in cancer prevention and treatment, opening new avenues for further research and clinical applications. 🎯🩺 🔗 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/db65E6gQ #CancerResearch #Immunology #ManukaHoney

🎉 We are excited to announce the publication of our latest study, "Deciphering Neuronal Deficit and Protein Profile Changes in Human Brain Organoids from Patients with Creatine Transporter Deficiency," now available in Life.
