Our teams spent the week gathering in person to connect face-to-face, learn new insights, and harness the power of the ASM Global Network. Operations came together for the OSCARS Live conference at ASM Global Knoxville talking security, procurement, sustainability and more. Premium Sales team members convened in LA for the annual ALSD Conference and a day sharing how ASM venues are taking the premium experience to the next level. ASM Global is proud to contribute to the Green Sports Alliance Reuse Playbook for sports and entertainment venues, equipping venue operators and owners with tools and insights to successfully implement a reuse system for their food and beverage service ware. Chief Sustainability Officer Lindsay Arell has been instrumental in showcasing the impact the transition from single-use to reuse can have on the sports and entertainment industry. Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has already begun their reuse program with several other ASM venues set to launch this summer. Sustainability in Action! 💡 One of ASM Global's goals in making its venues the most sustainable on earth is to decrease energy consumption by 25% by 2030. Santander Arena and Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA, is one venue doing its part by making smart upgrades to its operations including replacing its refrigeration system from R22 to CO2.
