Since 2020, 90% of our co-ops and interns have accepted full-time positions with us. We're proud to have many amazing graduates who have decided to kickstart their careers with BLHI! Our team has always valued making a difference in our community, which is why we are particularly fond of the construction of Smile-A-Mile Place. The goal of this project was to create a safe haven and place of respite to carry out Smile-A-Mile's extensive array of therapeutic programming for children diagnosed with cancer and their families. In 2016, we began renovating this 100-year-old building to include a community/multipurpose programming space, media room, meditation room, exercise facility, full kitchen, game room, offices, and additional support facilities. Swipe through the photos to see the final product! Many of our employees continue to support Smile-A-Mile year after year by participating in their annual 5k event. As the summer temperatures continue to rise in the US, our project teams are finding creative ways to focus on the importance of heat illness prevention. There's no better way to cool down than with an icy treat! Last week, our project team at WEG Headquarters and Hanger at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, held a topping-out ceremony marking the structural completion of the building. It was a beautiful, sunny day paired with a beam signing, a celebratory lunch, and fellowship. The facility's structure is made of 6,600 yards of concrete, 900 tons of steel, and 45,000 concrete blocks! #BLHI #BuildAnythingAnywhere #ToppingOut #TeamTyndall

The 529 King Street Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina is 70% complete! 🏗️ This 50-unit boutique hotel will soon feature retail space on the first floor, a courtyard for guests that is also available for private parties and events, and a fifth-floor indoor/outdoor lounge and bar overlooking downtown Charleston. #BLHI #BuildAnythingAnywhere #Charleston #CharlestonConstruction
