Join Our Team as an Associate/Assistant Professor of Product Design Key Responsibilities: Instruction and Curriculum Development: - Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in Product Design. - Create syllabi, lesson plans, and materials aligned with industry practices and academic standards. - Mentor and advise students on academic and professional development. - Enhance the Product Design curriculum to meet industry demands and integrate interdisciplinary concepts. - Use case studies and real-world examples to enrich learning and practical application. Research and Development: - Publish research in reputable academic journals, books, and conference proceedings. - Engage with the academic community through conferences, seminars, and workshops. Academic Services and Community Engagement: - Participate in academic committees and departmental meetings. - Provide academic guidance, including course selection and career advice. - Engage in outreach activities such as guest lectures and workshops to foster industry partnerships. - Contribute to accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives. Qualifications: - Ph.D./Terminal Degree in Product Design or a related field. - Distinguished publication record or industry experience in Product Design. Essential Criteria: - Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level. - Previous industry or consultancy experience preferred. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Proven leadership and collaboration abilities. - Active participation in professional networks related to Product Design.
