Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) and MENA Terminals Fujairah FZC - Signing of Land Lease Agreement The allocation of the additional land to MENA Terminal is in line with FOIZ strategy to attract and establish Low Carbon and Green Fuel production in the zone. FOIZ planning and operations is in line with the Emirate of Fujairah and UAE strategy to Lower Emissions and Increase the share of Green Fuels in the overall energy mix. Capt. Salem Al Afkham Al Hamoudi, Director of Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), stated, “The MENA Terminal holds significant importance in supporting FOIZ’s mission to regulate various aspect of the hydrocarbon industry within the zone. FOIZ is delighted to announce its support on the MENA Project’s initiative to expand land dedicated to green fuels”.     And Mr. Murtaza Lakhani, Chairman of MENA Terminals Fujairah, said “The MENA Terminal is one of the leading and most innovative terminal assets in the region, which also champions best practice environmental standards in oil storage. In line with FOIZ's ESG strategy and commitment to developing and enhancing engineers’ community in Fujairah, FOIZ collaborated with the Fujairah Science Club to organize a site visit for a group of talented engineers to the ECOMAR Facility in June 2024. نظمت دائرة الموارد البشرية – حكومة الفجيرة مع مشاركة منطقة الفجيرة للصناعة البترولية " لجنة فريق نافس " بالتعاون مع شركات القطاع الخاص والجهات الحكومية والشركاء الاستراتيجيين، افتتاح فعالية مجلس منافسة الكوادر الوطنية "نافس " ، ووزارة الموارد البشرية أقامت الموارد والشؤون الداخلية في يوم الخميس 13/يونيو/2024 يوماً مفتوحاً لمقابلات الباحثين عن عمل في فندق كونكورد الفجيرة 300بإجمالي واستهدف اليوم المفتوح للباحثين عن عمل من الكوادر الوطنية في مختلف التخصصات والمؤهلات وظيفة شاغرة من قبل الجهات المشاركة 100باحث عن عمل، وتم توفير . ويأتي تنظيم هذه الفعالية في إطار ضمان دعم المنطقة للإقامة في كافة النواحي سواء الخاصة أو الحكومية وتم عمل عن إجراء مقابلات فورية لجميع الباحثين. Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (NAFIS Team) recently participated in an event organized by HR Government, and in cooperation with the companies of private sector, government entities, and strategic partners, commenced the event of National Cadre Competition Council "Nafis" and the Ministry of Human Resources and Internal Affairs held today 13th June 2024, an open day for job seekers' interviews at the Concorde Hotel Fujairah. The open day targeted job seekers from national cadres in various disciplines and qualifications as a total of 300 job seekers, and 100 job vacancies were provided by participating entities. من خلال الزيارة، التقى فريق نافس بممثلي الجهات الخاصة، وتم تبادل الأفكار والخبرات لتطوير استراتيجيات جديدة تسهم في زيادة نسبة التوطين، وتوفير فرص عمل مناسبة للمواطنين. وتأتي هذه الزيارات في إطار حرص برنامج نافس على متابعة تنفيذ المبادرات الميدانية وضمان تحقيق النتائج المستدامة، من خلال التواجد الميداني والتفاعل المباشر مع الجهات المعنية. كما تعكس هذه الزيارات التزام برنامج نافس بتحقيق أهداف التوطين وتعزيز دور المواطنين في القطاع الخاص، مما يسهم في تحقيق رؤية الإمارات للتنمية الشاملة والمستدامة.. The NAFIS Program Initiatives Team in Fujairah conducted field visits to private entities to review the results of localization efforts. These visits aimed to evaluate the progress made in achieving localization goals and to enhance cooperation with private entities for better outcomes. During the visits, the NAFIS team met with representatives of private entities and exchanged ideas and experiences to develop new strategies that contribute to increasing the localization rate and providing suitable job opportunities for citizens. These visits are part of NAFIS's commitment to monitoring the implementation of field initiatives and ensuring sustainable results. By being present in the field and directly interacting with relevant entities. منطقة الفجيرة للصناعة البترولية (فوز) تبحث حلول تقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية بالتعاون مع عدد من المؤسسات لتحقيق الاستدامة في إمارة الفجيرة حضر سعادة الكابتن/ سالم الأفخم – مدير عام منطقة الفجيرة للصناعة البترولية، اجتماعاً تعاونياً مع سعادة/ أصيلة الهاشمي – مدير عام هيئة البيئة بالفجيرة، بحضور كلٍ من الكابتن/ علي العبدولي – مدير إدارة محطات ناقلات النفط بالفجيرة، والكابتن مايد الأميري – مدير الإدارة البحرية، بهدف بحث سبل التعاون في وضع وتطوير الخطط الاستراتيجية والإجراءات المتبعة للمساهمة في تقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية والتأثيرات البيئية لإرساء بيئة أكثر استدامة والحفاظ على جودة الحياة في دولة الإمارات. حيث كان الاجتماع فرصةٌ لمناقشة سبل توحيد جهود مؤسسات إمارة الفجيرة في معالجة القضايا البيئية للحد من الانبعاثات بما يحقق رؤية الإمارة نحو التنمية المستدامة، وتوجهات القيادة الرشيدة في مجال الاستدامة للوصول الى اًهداف الحياد المناخي بحلول عام 2050، وأثمر الاجتماع عن عدد من الإجراءات التي سيتم تطبيقها خلال المرحلة القادمة. Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) explores solutions to reduce carbon emissions in collaboration with several institutions to achieve sustainability in the Emirate of Fujairah. His Excellency Captain Salem Al Afkham - General Director of FOIZ, attended a collaborative meeting with Her Excellency Asila Al-Mualla - Director of the Fujairah Environment Authority. Also in attendance were Captain Ali Al Abdouli- Acting Director / Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminals Department, and Captain Mayed Al Ameiry - Harbour Master/ Director-Marine Department. The meeting aimed to explore ways to cooperate in developing strategic plans and procedures to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impacts, establishing a more sustainable environment, and preserving the quality of life in the UAE. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways to unify the efforts of Fujairah's institutions in addressing environmental issues to reduce emissions, in line with the Emirate's vision for sustainable development and the wise leadership's directives in the field of sustainability to achieve UAE Net Zero emissions by 2050. وفد حكومة الفجيرة يعقد حزمة من الاجتماعات واللقاءات مع الشركاء الاستراتيجيين خلال تمثيله في المؤتمر العالمي للطاقة ال 26   تخللت زيارة وفد حكومة الفجيرة لمدينة روتردام عقد العديد من الاجتماعات واللقاءات مع أبرز الشركاء الاستراتيجيين التي تربطهم علاقات تعاون وثيقة طويلة الأمد امتدت لسنوات ومازالت في مختلف المجالات ذات الصلة.   على رأس هذه الاجتماعات التقى الوفد مع VOTOB وهي الجهة المسؤولة عن قطاع الطاقة والبترول في مملكة هولندا، حيث استعرض الوفد توجهات إمارة الفجيرة لذات القطاع والخطط والاستراتيجيات التي تتبناها الإمارة وموائمتها مع جهود الدولة للتغلب على تحديات وآثار التغير المناخي والتحول نحو الطاقة النظيفة المستدامة ضمن خطط ممنهجة تعد الأسرع في المنطقة والعالم، ومن جانبه اطلع الوفد على ابرز الخطط الاستراتيجية المستقبلية لتحقيق الحياد المناخي 2050 كما تم الاتفاق على حتمية استكمال مسيرة التعاون الوثيق بين الاطراف بهدف تبادل الخبرات والاستفادة من التجارب العلمية والعملية لتحقيق أقصى استفادة في تطبيق أفضل الممارسات.   ومن أهم اللقاءات التي قام بها وفد حكومة الفجيرة تلبية دعوة منطقة السلامة – روتردام ( VRR) والاجتماع بهم في مقرهم بمدينة روتردام ( WORLD PORT CENTER) . كما ضم الاجتماع أهم الجهات المختصة بالأمن والصحة والسلامة والبيئة والسلطة البيئة المختصة DCMR وسلطة ميناء روتردام، حيث تم الاطلاع على أحدث المشاريع المستدامة المنجزة وقيد التنفيذ وأفضل الممارسات والتقنيات المستحدثة لتلبية التوجهات العالمية نحو التحول الى الطاقة النظيفة وتلبية الاحتياجات المستقبلية في قطاع الطاقة.   كما تم أيضا مناقشة الجانب التشريعي وكيفية تطوير الخطط الاستراتيجية بشأن تراخيص المشاريع المستحدثة في قطاع الطاقة والبترول ، والمجالات ذات الصلة مثل البيئة والأمن والسلامة، حيث تم الاتفاق على ضرورة مواصلة التعاون بين إمارة الفجيرة ومدينة روتردام في الفترة القادمة وتبادل الخبرات من خلال عقد زيارات واجتماعات دورية لمناقشة القضايا المشتركة.   #FOIZ #worldenergycongress #sustainability #cop28 #Fujairah #UAE
