A group of eight students and their lecturer from the Department of Business Administration at R.P. Shaha University visited the manufacturing plant of Berger Fosroc Limited (BFL) in Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The primary purpose of the visit was to observe how their theoretical knowledge is applied in practice. By experiencing the facility's operational intricacies, the students were able to connect classroom learning to real-world applications. Additionally, they gained exposure to the industrial processes involved in manufacturing construction products, observing the meticulous procedures and techniques used in the production process at BFL. www.fosroc.com #fosroc

At Fosroc Egypt, we are immensely proud to have supported the monumental New Delta Wastewater Treatment Plant project. This facility, the largest of its kind in the world, is set to deliver 7.5 million cubic meters of treated water per day, irrigating 2.2 million acres and transforming the landscape of northwestern Egypt. Located in El-Dabaa, this ambitious project underscores Egypt's commitment to sustainable development, turning wastewater into a vital resource to combat water scarcity and support agricultural expansion.   The $522 million New Delta Wastewater Treatment Plant, completed in 24 months, involved 431,000 cubic yards of concrete work and a 6,500-strong workforce, overcoming logistical challenges in a remote location through early planning and efficient resource management. Fosroc Egypt played a crucial role in this success, providing over 90% of the concrete used in the project. Our high-performance solutions, including 2 million litres of Conplast SP 561 3s and 700,000 litres of Conplast WP 100e, met all durability and concrete strength requirements. These products ensured the project's concrete structures were not only strong but also exceptionally durable, contributing significantly to the overall sustainability and longevity of the plant.   The project was a collaborative effort involving some of the industry's top contractors and companies, including Khatib & Alami, the Joint Venture of The Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.), Metito Overseas Ltd., Orascom Construction, and Hassan Allam Construction, along with Elnabarawy Consulting and the Joint Venture of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Warith Consultant and Power Generation Engineering & Service Co.
