Shoutout to our amazing and energetic host BIG HASS. During the event I enjoined attending a session by the visionary leader of UAE Cyber Security Council H.E. Dr.Mohamed Alkuwaiti highlighting the importance of collaboration toward a safer digital world. - "CYBERSECURITY CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES OF #AI" presentation: This amazing session was presented by Cyber E71 program manager Fatima Alneyadi and CPX director Ibrahim El Abed discussing the #AI related challenges and opportunities. Key Highlights: - Cyber for AI or AI for Cyber: Many experts highlighted the importance in securing AI applications as well as leveraging AI to mitigate cybersecurity challenges. - AI as a double-edged Sword: AI can be used by the bad guys too. Experts highlighted that adversaries are faster in adopting AI capabilities than us! - Is AI Scary?!: You can feel that some users have fears and reluctance from high adoption of AI solutions due to unforeseen risks. - AI Regulation Gap: Global collaboration is required to fill in this gap, establish regulations that will govern AI usage, and set ethical, social, safety, and environmental boundaries for AI applications. I also had the pleasure to visit the amazing UAE #NSOC and discuss the monitoring and #IncidentResponse capabilities.
