During the Global Health Exhibition - ملتقى الصحة العالمي in Riyadh this week, we announced an MOU with our first Saudi partner, Meena Health. Collaboration with other stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem is an exciting part of the evolution of the GluCare.Health story. Our conversations with the team at Meena Health have revolved around introducing a "powered by GluCare" service to dramatically improve outcomes, and help bend the risk and cost curve on their diabetic and at-risk population, all while preserving the human relationships they've invested in building between their members and Meena physicians. The burden of diabetes and metabolic dysfunction in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is among the highest in the world. I participated in the inaugural GCC Menopause Summit on Friday as part of a panel discussion on “The Battle of the Pauses: Menopause vs. Andropause" - joining colleagues much smarter than me on the topic: Dr. Fiona Rennie, Dr. Aagje Bais- Sørensen, and Scott Armstrong, led by expert moderator Chris Miller (Chief InCreMentalist). Firstly, sold-out crowd at the architecturally incredible Museum of the Future. Don't miss it next year! During our conversation, I emphasized that it’s not really a battle between the two, but rather a shared journey of hormonal change that impacts both men and women. At GluCare.Health, we believe that outcomes should never be hidden. This October, we'll be sharing our latest outcomes with each of our insurance partners on their diabetes cohort (2021-2023). A few real examples are attached. The results has been consistent for years: better control, fewer medications, and lasting improvements for patients who were previously managed under traditional care. Our approach is simple yet powerful: A hybrid, data-driven, personalized strategy combined with a minimum number of engagements per quarter from an integrated team. The model consistently outperforms traditional care, delivering rapid results and sustainable health improvements. Frankly, the baseline results we’re seeing when patients first come into the GluCare.Health program are shocking and unacceptable. Most of these patients were known diabetics and on medications, yet the level of control they had in traditional care settings across the UAE highlights the urgent need for change. It’s time for every healthcare provider to measure and report outcomes transparently. What have they got to hide? How else can they improve their care model if they are not actively reviewing their own results? Our 2024 results are even better due to continuous iterations to the care model and the addition of new digital bio-markers tracking from our ŌURA partnership.
