LinkedIn community, today we're delving into the remarkable journey of Ramzi, Sales Manager at Gulf Flowers. Ramzi, let's start at the beginning. How did your story with Gulf Flowers unfold, and how has your role evolved over time?
- Hello everyone! My journey at Gulf Flowers began as a Customer Care Representative. I was following up with the clients, solving their problems and I was in charge of the flowers claims.
We have noticed that our number of clients is growing rapidly so we decided to divide the sales department into two different sections
The first department is for fresh-cut flowers and the second is for items of decor, accessories, artificial plants, and pots.
I joined the last one as a sales manager and my main role is to build and maintain client relationships, analyze market trends, and develop sales strategies
Can you walk us through a typical day in your role at Gulf Flowers? How do you balance your various responsibilities?
- The first thing I do is check my emails, we may have internal meetings on the ongoing projects. Then prioritizing my tasks, this is early morning
The mid-morning is actually for the client’s inquiries and scheduling meetings for the afternoon. I go for lunch I take something healthy that gives me some energy to continue the day
The afternoons till the evening are for meeting the clients and then creating the assignments to deliver the goods to the clients and that’s it.
How would you describe the culture and ethos of Gulf Flowers in three words?
- Multicultural, respect, transparency?
