We are proud to share that our Deputy CEO, Naser Al Yammahi, has been named by Forbes Middle East as one of the top 100 healthcare leaders 2024 in the MENA region; placing as #33. This placement is a true testament to Al Yammahi’s commitment to exceptional leadership and dedication to taking Hayat Biotech to new frontiers. In 2021, Al Yammahi led the establishment of Hayat Biotech, developed the Life Sciences Park in Abu Dhabi, and a manufacturing plant in Serbia. In March 2024, the company partnered with the Kenya BioVax Institute for vaccine R&D. Al Yammahi helped launch the 4Humanity campaign and oversaw the rollout of Hayat Vax, the first Arab-produced Covid-19 vaccine. Alyammahi also previously served as acting executive director and director of projects at the U.A.E. Office of the Minister of State.

This week Hayat Biotechs R&D team hosted an internal influenza vaccine seminar for its employees. The seminar was conducted by our very own Dr. Sana Rizvi, who is Project Lead in our R&D department. The informative seminar covered topics such as general awareness on the vaccine, ADPHC recommendation and surveillance programs, the importance of getting vaccinated and FAQs + misconception about vaccination. Dr. Sana Rizvi stated in the seminar, "Due to the continuous evolution of influenza viruses, flu vaccines are updated annually to provide protection against the most prevalent strains expected to circulate each season. Unlike many other vaccines, flu vaccines are designed to offer protection for only one year; thus, stressing the importance to get vaccinated every year". Hayat Biotech employees recently participated in a Bioproduction Seminar hosted by Scientechnic Life Science & Molecular Biology in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific. Held at the Scientechnic Corporate Office, the seminar focused on key topics essential to biopharmaceutical manufacturing, including single-use technology, biopharma analytics, and quality control products. Led by Thermo Fisher experts Rob Osborne, Oytun Ulus, and Bart Bosman, the sessions provided valuable insights into optimizing bioproduction processes. The event was also attended by key figures from Scientechnic, highlighting the strong collaboration between the organizations. For Hayat Biotech, a leader in biologics and vaccine development in the UAE, the seminar offered valuable discussion onto enhancing production and QA/QC efforts, supporting our commitment to excellence in biopharma manufacturing across the Middle East.
