#M42 is setting new standards for medical innovation through a groundbreaking collaboration between IROS CRO, Prilenia Therapeutics, and the International Huntington Association (IHA)! As part of the UAE’s vision to champion novel therapeutic approaches, this strategic partnership will conduct the region’s first-ever clinical trial for Huntington’s disease and support high-quality scientific research in the field, leveraging IROS’s precision-driven clinical solutions. The collaboration agreement was signed in the presence His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH) at the DoH stand during the BIO International Convention San Diego, making the pivotal launch of this revolutionary initiative. In the presence of H.E. Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, IROS company has signed an agreement with the International Huntington’s Disease Association and Prilenia Therapeutics to launch a clinical trial for Huntington’s disease (HD), a genetic disorder that leads to the degeneration of neurons in the brain, causing severe cognitive and physical decline. This trial is the first-ever in the UAE and MENA region, using Prilenia’s investigational drug, pridopidine, aiming to raise awareness about HD and help bring innovative treatments to support patients and their families in Abu Dhabi and beyond. The agreement was signed at the DoH stand during the BIO International Convention 2024, that recently concluded its events in San Diego, USA.
