Kicking off 2025 by unveiling our recently completed Norton Rose Fulbright office in Riyadh, marking the second design collaboration with this esteemed client. The design concept, Rawasheen: A Nomadic Destination, finds its roots in the iconic Hijazi architectural heritage. The office space takes inspiration from the rawasheen windows—intricate wooden lattices featuring circles, crescent moons, arrows, and stars in tranquil shades of blue and green. These elements are reimagined in the design to balance natural light, air circulation, and privacy, while providing open, panoramic views of Riyadh, just as the traditional rawasheen windows did in homes across Saudi Arabia. In this contemporary office environment, the essence of the rawasheen has been seamlessly integrated into the design. The spaces incorporate traditional elements like doors and shutters, which have been transformed into modern symbols of status and ownership within the corporate setting. This innovative approach merges the region’s nomadic heritage with meticulous craftsmanship, bringing a cultural depth to a dynamic, forward-thinking workplace inside the iconic Kingdom Tower. A massive thank you to the client and project team for your support! #Architecture #Design #Rawasheen #NortonRoseFulbright #Riyadh #OfficeDesign
