We’ll be hosting a Pink Caravan Medical Clinic at Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa. 🗓 Date: Wednesday, 16th October 2024 🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 📍 Venue: Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa We’re inviting our female colleagues from Marriott properties across Dubai and Abu Dhabi to join us for an educational seminar, followed by breast cancer screening for all ages and a free Mammogram for ladies above 40. Our People and Marriott Business Councils. Last week, we had the pleasure of having Satya Anand for the Marriott Business Council UAE meeting and celebrations in Abu Dhabi. I am personally very proud of our General Managers, leaders and Next Gen Marriott Business Councils and Business Councils who believe in the power of people. To work on an initiative to raise funds and give back to the communities is boundless, what impresses me the most is the fact that the teams continue to do it consistently day over day, month over month and year over year. Kudos! To start with UAE Business Council won the Global Overall Achievement Award for Large Business Council 2023. Heartiest Congratulations to all the associates and leaders for the same. What awe-struck me the most was the 405,000 volunteer hours that the team put in towards Serve 360 initiatives. Every General Manager in this region leads not just one, but two hotels—one for our guests and one for our associates. Ensuring our associates feel at home is a top priority, and we continuously strive to create comfortable, inspiring environments for them. This vision came to life through our Associate Facilities Upgrade Competition 2024, organized by the Marriott Business Council UAE.
