We were pleased to welcome the Consulate General of the UAE – Geneva and 18 companies as part of the Neuchâtel UAE Roadshow. Their visit aimed to explore the opportunities within Masdar City Free Zone and gain insights into its dynamic, cluster-focused business ecosystem. In collaboration with MBZUAI (Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence), the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and the Department of Community Development, we hosted senior citizens and students to explore the future AI, its applications, and the transformative role of AI-driven initiatives during Innovation Month. Through insightful presentations and interactive discussions, we highlighted the pivotal role of AI innovation in driving progress and shaping a sustainable future for all members of the community, reinforcing the spirit of the Year of the Community. Masdar City welcomed H.E. Erkki Keldo, Minister of Economy and Industry of Estonia, and his delegation for discussions on sustainable mobility and technology-driven innovation. The visit focused on Masdar City’s smart mobility initiatives, including the newly introduced autonomous shuttle, an Estonian innovation currently undergoing testing. They explored the city's sustainable urban ecosystem before concluding with a meeting with Ahmed Baghoum, our CEO, to discuss collaboration opportunities in advanced mobility and sustainable development. استقبلت مدينة مصدر معالي إركي كيلدو، وزير الاقتصاد والصناعة في إستونيا، والوفد المرافق له في زيارة ركّزت على تعزيز التعاون في مجالات التنقل المستدام والابتكار التكنولوجي. شملت الزيارة جولة في مجمع التنقل الذكي بالمدينة، حيث تعرّف الوفد على أحدث الحلول المتقدمة، بما في ذلك الحافلة ذاتية القيادة المطوّرة في إستونيا، والتي حالياً تخضع للاختبار في مدينة مصدر. واختتمت الزيارة بلقاء مع أحمد باقحوم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمدينة مصدر، حيث ناقش الطرفان آفاق التعاون في التنقل المتقدم والتنمية المستدامة.

Masdar City is advancing zero-emission urban mobility through the testing of autonomous vehicles equipped with LIDAR technology. As a key part of the Smart Autonomous Vehicle Industry (SAVI) Abu Dhabi Cluster, we are driving the development of smart, sustainable transportation solutions in collaboration with partners like Fort Engineering.
