Really enjoyed being on a panel yesterday moderated by fellow Aussie Roy Hui from LightLink alongside the other panelists Kevin K. from 9GAG and Memeland, Farokh Sarmad from Rug Radio, covering the topic of #brand value with #Web3 at WebX by CoinPost Inc. in #Tokyo 🇯🇵
The first day included alot of networking, discussions and answering the question “Is the #metaverse dead?” - another highlight was seeing Amarpreet Singh, MBA from EMURGO - I’ll do a recap at the end of the event for sure, and cover my thoughts regarding the sentiment and points of discussion taking place in Tokyo around the future of #web3
The exhibition hall had a lot of projects displaying their products and platforms, a couple were of interest - a #wearable that incentivizes you for movement from the popular Yuliverse team , then I saw a “breath to earn” poster with some vapes hanging around the front and figured ‘not today nicottine Satan, not today’ 😂 (mind you I do enjoy cigars and arguile but won’t give in to cigarettes or vaping) - a lot of #anime ofcourse , a product called Golfin, which got me excited because I do enjoy Golf but no one was at the booth so I’ll go back today and I’ll continue the rest later in part 2 as I make my way into day 2.

If you’re a #brand and you’re not looking at what #UGC can do for you, you’re missing out. Brands are no longer competing with other brands, the product nowadays isn’t enough with the rise in dupe culture and #genz and #genalpha going after experiences and incentivization - brands are now competing with micro and macro influencers who have established communities and are able to drive sales.. #luxury brands need to build communities focusing on key touch points and use cases pre and post brand interaction to ensure that they transition from being a name with a product to a lifestyle brand with experiences curated for their VIPs and community. The establishment of #virtualworlds isn’t about jumping on the hype train, it’s about differentiating your brand and having a new arena to infuse elements of #digitalassets, #gamification and use cases and functionalities to reward interaction and loyalty.. the use of #ar and #xr technology is an added bonus for UGC creation and engagement. Tell your story through the 3D Internet evolution not the stale website journey… and ofcourse contact MetaMinds Group because we actually know what we’re doing 😂
