Our nation’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, firmly believed in the potential of investing in youth. Today, we proudly carry this legacy forward, as we launch the first ever Applied Research Open Day by Mubadala, a holistic event where more than 300 students will come together to tackle real-world challenges and explore essential research methods.

Saed Arar, our Head of Traditional Infrastructure, recently participated in a panel discussion at SuperReturn Middle East 2024. During the session, Saed highlighted key trends shaping the infrastructure investment sector, including the growing influx of capital into energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transport projects on both regional and global scales. He also emphasized our commitment to investing in sectors that offer long-term value and prosperity for global economies and their citizens. Looking toward 2025, we continue our commitment to identifying and capturing opportunities that drive economic growth and enhance community well-being worldwide.

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Masary Program graduates, who have successfully completed Grade 12 and are now poised to embark on their higher education journeys. Their dedication and perseverance have been truly commendable, and we look forward to witnessing the great contributions they will make in the future. The Masary Program, launched two years ago in collaboration with Department of Education And Knowledge - ADEK, is a transformative, year-long initiative designed to equip high school students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their academic and professional paths. From expert-led speaker sessions to immersive career exploration clubs, the program has empowered students to focus on their strengths and plan their career trajectories. Powered by our Portfolio Emiratization team, the initiative reflects our commitment to developing and supporting the next generation of Emirati talent. We’re excited to see where their next steps take them and how they will contribute to the future of the UAE.

We have partnered with The Department of Municipalities and Transport and The Authority of Social Contribution - Ma'an to create the Rabdan Art Project, transforming Abu Dhabi’s streets into a vibrant canvas. With 26 crosswalks, 15 utility boxes, and 17 murals, Emirati talent is adding color and creativity to the city.   Part of Abu Dhabi Canvas, this initiative celebrates our cultural heritage, with each brushstroke telling a story of tradition and community, further enhancing public spaces, and fostering pride and belonging.

At the 2024 Global Rail Conference, our Senior Vice President - UAE Industries, Saif Al Qubaisi, joined a dynamic panel highlighting how strategic investments in rail infrastructure can lay the groundwork for improved trade and bolstering supply chains.    This can be realized through our investment in the Hafeet Rail project, the first rail connection between two GCC countries, UAE and Oman, and is a considerable step in regional cohesion and connectivity.

In a step forward to strengthen the UAE’s presence in life sciences, our new specialty pharmaceutical arm, KELIX bio, acquired four GlobalOne Healthcare Holding assets.   Read from Ismail Ali Abdulla, our Head of UAE Clusters at Mubadala’s UAE Investments Platform, as he highlights the significance of this move in driving economic diversification, job creation, and bolstering the UAE’s position globally within the ecosystem.

We are proud to support the growth and expansion of our new integrated biopharmaceutical arm, KELIX bio, by enabling its acquisition of a 100% stake in four GlobalOne Healthcare Holding’s (GHH) pharma assets: Bioventure , Bioventure Healthcare, Gulf Inject, and Wellpharma Medical Solutions.   This strategic move consolidates our footprint in the life sciences industry, propels the UAE’s sectoral development, and positions it as a global leader, fostering economic diversification.
