This week, our Beijing Office hosted a panel discussion in celebration of #IWD2025, bringing together female industry leaders to explore the challenges and opportunities for women in private equity and how we can accelerate action. Our Head of Infrastructure, Saed Arar, highlights our commitment to strategic investments, emphasizing how our support for Calisen over four years enabled long-term growth, enhanced returns, and reduced risk. This successful exit reflects our approach to capturing value through well-timed, strategic transactions.

We have successfully completed the sale of our stake in Calisen, the UK's leading provider of smart meters and small-scale energy transition infrastructure assets. The sale marks the end of a four-year investment cycle during which we, alongside partners, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part of BlackRock, and the infrastructure business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, worked closely with Calisen to deliver strong financial and commercial performance. We also supported the company’s expansion capabilities to unlock new growth opportunities including electric vehicle (EV) charging, the electrification of heating, solar, and battery solutions. These efforts have further strengthened Calisen’s role in the UK’s energy transition as the country advances in its journey to achieving net zero by 2050.
