Meet Charrize Quimson RN , one of our many amazing Customer Care operators. This is her story. “When a baby fell at home, naturally the parents were worried about their child. The doctor immediately requested an ultrasound to assess the baby’s condition. Some challenges were faced with the claim's approval - adding further stress to the concerned parents. It’s important in these situations to remember that every member is a person and not just a number, so I was determined to give the family the attention they deserved. I personally contacted the father of the baby and reassured him that I would put everything right – and that’s exactly what I did. After promptly contacting the provider and explaining the situation, I encouraged them to re-submit the claim for the ultrasound, which they did. As a result, the claim was approved, so I immediately phoned the family to tell them the good news. It’s these moments that are incredibly rewarding for me and one of the reasons I love my job. Trying to ensure an end-to-end seamless process is what drives me and my team, but naturally things don’t always go to plan – it’s just a fact of life. When things don’t go our way, it’s how we deal with them that matters – and that’s a principle I bring to work every day”. #SuccessStories #Nextcare
