Our Olympic-size, rooftop swimming pool is ready, and we’ll soon be putting it to great use! This incredible addition is a big step forward for our sports department: a perfect space for our students to build confidence, stay healthy, and develop their swimming skills. Swimming is key at NAS Abu Dhabi, from learning to swim and developing water confidence to competitive and elite swimming. With a learner pool in FS, a 25m pool, and now this 50m pool, we’ve got everything needed to ensure everyone at NAS Abu Dhabi can safely develop their skills and talents in the water. We’re proud to be ticking this project off our list and can’t wait to see our students, staff, parents, and the wider community, including our partner 4th Lane Academy making the most of this incredible space. Last week, our Principal, Liam Cullinan, received a special invitation to attend an inspiring lecture by Global Education Advisor, Prof Dr Ger Graus OBE, on "Reimagining Early Childhood Education". Hosted at Majlis Mohamed bin Zayed, this event is part of an annual series featuring expert speakers discussing a variety of trending topics. The lecture, held at the Majlis Venue - Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and broadcast on Al Emarat TV, explored innovative approaches to early childhood learning.
