For a successful coffee cupping experience, here’s some essential information on water temperature and pouring practices according to ROR standards: 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆  𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞: Use water between 92-93°C (197-199°F), noting that this range may be lower at higher altitudes. This temperature helps to fully express the potential flavors present in the coffee. 𝑷𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝: Pour the water in a direction that encourages the grounds to move in a circular motion, ensuring even saturation of all particles. 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: We use 12 grams of coffee per 180 grams of water, which works best with our cups.
