Sharjah Islamic Bank, formerly known as the National Bank of Sharjah, is a publicly listed Islamic bank headquartered in the emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The bank was established in 1975 and in 2004 converted into a fully Shariah compliant bank. Sharjah Islamic Bank’s reputation and continued success has been built by providing customers with unparalleled levels of service and satisfaction. Through adopting a visionary strategy and upholding clear policies of risk management and cost control throughout all areas of operations, we have successfully diversified to offer customers a broad range of Sharia’a compliant retail, commercial, corporate, investment and international banking services through its extensive UAE network. Since its inception in 1975, Sharjah Islamic Bank has gone from strength to strength. Today, the bank has a rapidly expanding network of 35 branches throughout the UAE supported by a growing number of ATM’s and EDM’s located in convenient and popular business, shopping and leisure destinations.
