I recently returned from an inspiring trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Arabia, where I had the pleasure of reconnecting with good friends and meeting fellow IMD alumni and peers in the legal industry. The hospitality, helpfulness, and openness of the IMD alumni were truly remarkable, leading to many enriching dialogues. This experience underscored the power of a strong network.

Each emirate has its unique character. Sharjah is more traditional, Dubai is a bustling international metropolis reminiscent of Las Vegas (minus the gambling), and Abu Dhabi offers a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere.

Both Saudis and Emiratis are proud and welcoming. Everywhere I went, people were friendly and open. A memorable moment was when I landed in #Riyadh, and a local man warmly greeted me, expressing his hope to see more tourists in the future.
