Did you know that Systematic helps manufacturing companies transform their business? 🤔🏭 This week, Systematic hosted an Innovation Conference in collaboration with MADE - Manufacturing Academy of Denmark, gathering industry leaders to explore the next phase of industrialisation and its impact on manufacturing. Today, Danish manufacturing companies are facing big challenges: global competition, volatile raw material and logistics costs, and increasing customer demand for sustainable and efficient solutions. To stay competitive, many manufacturing companies are transforming their business models – from simply selling products to delivering value through services. The conference offered insights into cybersecurity, XR technology, the metaverse, and sustainable industrial development, fostering ideas for a more resilient, sustainable future for manufacturing. With nearly four decades of experience serving critical, public sectors like Defence and Healthcare, we are recognized for our quality, secure handling of data and streamlined processes, offering our customers secure, high-quality solutions that creates true value. Drawing on our experience and our secure, open-source platform, we guide manufacturing companies through this digital shift and help them transform their business. What the dishwasher and robot vacuum cleaner did to our households - software will do to the Stockholm libraries 🔦📚 ...and what exactly is that? To simplify, it lets people work smarter, not harder. Automating processes and enhancing workflows free up time for Stockholm librarians to make literature more accessible to the city’s citizens. Stockholm Public Library recently chose our Library Management system, Cicero, to replace its 20-year-old IT system. Danish Lyngsoe Systems' Intelligent Material Management System (IMMS) is also integrated into Cicero, streamlining the logistics of book-lending. City Librarian Daniel Forsman leads the change, and his vision for the project extends beyond the walls of the library: "Cicero is already being used in several other Scandinavian libraries and is continuing to expand its customer base. I see enormous potential for collaboration on a larger scale. The common system can promote the exchange of experiences and ideas between the libraries. Together, we are developing the system and the features that our users are requesting,” Forsman says. We’re excited to embark on this digital transformation. The potential for redefining the library’s role in a digital world is exhilarating! Are you curious about what this change might mean for Stockholm? Read more here 👇👇 https://hubs.ly/Q02XggQD0

When you learn something new – share it with your colleagues! That attitude secured Michael Ustrup the first-ever IT Ambassador Award presented by It-vest - samarbejdende universiteter Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and has worked at Systematic for no the less than 17 years. Over the years, he developed an interest in cyber security, which led him to pursue a Master’s in IT Security. To no surprise, he graduated with flying colours 👏👏 During his studies, we only saw Michael part-time at the office. But when we did, he was always in full swing, deploying his new knowledge into practice! “Today, I spend half of my working hours teaching my colleagues about topics like technical IT security and threat modelling - areas I studied during my Master's in IT. Having my work appreciated this way, both during and after my studies, is definitely the icing on the cake,” he says. Congratulations on the well-deserved prize, Michael! Your curiosity, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit inspire us all. Read the entire story about how Michael’s passion for software security brought him new knowledge, influencing the course content, and passing on his expertise to co-students and colleagues (article in Danish) 👇👇 https://hubs.ly/Q02WMfT10 Photo credit: Roar Paaske

That moment, when you find out your colleague does the tango after two glasses of wine or knows the entire Batman lore... While this might not (well, maybe) come up at the scrum meetings, knowing your colleagues a bit deeper really adds to the work experience. That is why this post goes out to SEC! ... our crazy, creative Systematic employees club, who has dazzled us on countless occasions creating the most enchanting parties. Picture this: You step into a world of wizardry at a Harry Potter-themed bash, complete with floating candles and house sorting. Or perhaps you meet your team mate at a mysterious film noir party, ready to relive the monochrome mystique of a previous century. Who could forget the glamorous James Bond soirée, where martinis were shaken, not stirred? Or the time we all became superheroes for a night, celebrating the everyday heroes among us? But behind the glitz and glamour is a non-negotiable wish for happy and well-appreciated employees, and part of that is going the extra mile to create some fun, unexpected, meaningful moments together. Thank you for giving it your all, making Systematic not only a place to work, but a place to belong 🙌 We can’t wait to see what you come up with next 😲 Want to join our next party? Is it ok to say that we are proud? 🤔 We were when we saw this data last week: Universum's annual image survey places Systematic as the Danish IT company that IT professionals most want to work for. Large companies like LEGO, Novo Nordisk, and Google dominate the top of the list, but the first Danish IT company to appear is Systematic. For Vice President for People & Culture Palle Klaerke, this is extremely good news because the software company is experiencing strong growth in several business areas and needs skilled employees in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and international offices. "We need to attract the really talented employees because the solutions we develop play a critical role in society. We are experiencing strong growth – especially in defence – but also in health and the library sector. Therefore, we are constantly working to create a workplace that retains our skilled and experienced colleagues and attracts the right qualifications in the future," he explains. Everybody’s screaming for more coherent healthcare – but in Region Midtjylland and Herning Kommune, they’ve already found a solution 👀 Imagine that a family member has been hospitalized. The treatment goes well, but they need home care after the discharge. Now, it would be nice if the municipal home carers knew what treatments, examinations, and agreements have been done or made at the hospital, right? In reality, the transition from hospital to home care is often troublesome. To bridge the gap between hospitals and municipalities, Herning Municipality and Region Midtjylland (Central Jutland) have tested our Columna Axon. The solution lets regions and municipalities see each other’s patient info in real time, so that patient care is always based on comprehensive, up-to-date data. And the results were amazing! “The time a municipal nurse spends finding answers using Axon is nothing compared to the time she would spend on the phone. We are now more self-reliant and can react quicker. This is the best digital aid we have had for nursing for a long time” says Gitte Nørgaard, Head of Nursing and Home Care at Herning Municipality. Now, Columna Axon is on its way to all municipalities in Central Jutland. Read more about how Columna Axon has improved patient safety and is predicted to save healthcare staff in Central Jutland up to 18.000 work hours 👇 https://hubs.ly/Q02VCM0v0

📖 Turning a new page in Stockholm 🦉 The fairy tale of our library solution, Cicero, is taking another interesting turn as we add the mighty Stockholm City Library to our list of customers. 🦄 With a contract worth 100 million SEK, Stockholm joins an ever-growing list of innovative big-city libraries, including Oslo’s Deichman Bjørvika and Bücherhallen Hamburg, Copenhagen Libraries and DOKK1 – Aarhus Libraries. 📚 According to Stockholm City Librarian Daniel Forsman, the time has come for innovation and change: "We are replacing the entire system to get more opportunities for joint innovation, development, and collaboration with other libraries. Replacing a whole library system requires a lot from us, but if we want to create the libraries of the future, we must challenge ourselves and each other in terms of technology, management, visions, and collaboration," he says. Cicero is a modern, user-friendly platform that helps libraries streamline operations, manage materials efficiently, and provide a better experience for both staff and users. With Cicero, libraries can focus less on admin tasks and more on what matters: making knowledge and learning accessible to everyone.
