Abu Dhabi: The UAE government lowered the minimum age of driving to 17 and issued a series of new traffic regulations under a federal decree-law on Friday. The new law aims to keep up with the rapid evolution of transportation worldwide, the government said on X. The decree-law has introduced comprehensive regulations that apply to all types of vehicles and their drivers, as well as to pedestrians on the road. Severe penalties will apply for serious offenses, in cases such as causing death while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fleeing accident scenes, crossing roads improperly, or driving through flood-prone areas during floods. It's crucial for riders to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, which can lead to heat exhaustion, dizziness, fatigue, and even heatstroke. Staying hydrated helps maintain focus, physical stamina, and overall well-being, ensuring safety on the roads. Given their long hours and outdoor exposure, drinking water regularly is essential for sustaining their energy and health in such demanding conditions. ____ #ZoneDeliveryServices #StayHyderated #DrinkWater

Traffic-free commute in Dubai? Soon, fly your car, bike through the city. Xpeng Aeroht displayed the prototype vehicle at the e& stand during the Gitex technology exhibition Imagine driving your car down the road and then taking flight over the Creek without passing through a Salik gate. This could become a reality by 2030, thanks to the prototype flying car, the Xpeng Aeroht, on display at the e& stand during the Gitex technology exhibition in Dubai that kicked off on Monday. “This is a working prototype that will be available for sale in 2030,” said Fengting Tang, a company spokesperson. “The car will look like a regular sports car, with its propellers cleverly hidden. When the driver wants to fly, the propellers will unfold, the steering wheel will retract, and the vehicle will then be controlled using a joystick.” This two-seater vehicle can vertically take off to heights of up to 1,000 metres and operates on electricity.
