HSSE Advisor – Dubai

We are looking for a highly motivated Health, Safety, Security & Environment Coordinator to be part of our well-established team based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of office HSE Representatives.
• Support the Bids team with creating, tailoring and reviewing any policies, procedures and reporting templates as requested by the client.
• Assess operational capability to meet client HSE standards / requirements.
• Manage and lead on any Client HSE protocols agreed to in the client contract.
• Formalize and manage NESF HSE reporting and planning.
• Set processes and policies to support client requirements and to set in place NESF Best practice.
• Work collaboratively with Host Employers on all aspects of activities relating to Return to Work, rehabilitation initiatives, reasonable adjustments, injury prevention and safe return to work.
• Work with CLD & Insurance to manage any workplace injury notifications, medevac requests and/or fatality management.
• Lead process from start to finish, engaging all departments to ensure timely process. Implement First Aid and Fire Courses.

Competencies

• HSE certification (IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Experience of managing a company safety management system (ISO 45001)
• Health & safety experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferable.
• Prior experience managing workers comp claims.
• Prior experience working with ISN, ComplyWorks & Avetta would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the staffing industry and the UAE regulations would be considered a strong asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
