Watch Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Watch Technician to join team at Warehouse, Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and servicing of various types of watches, including mechanical, automatic, and quartz models. The role requires excellent technical skills, precision, and a passion for horology.

Key Responsibilities

·        Diagnose and repair mechanical, automatic, and quartz watches, including movements, cases, and bracelets.

·        Conduct regular servicing, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components.

·        Inspect watches for wear, damage, and defects using magnification tools and equipment.

·        Replace damaged or worn parts, including batteries, crowns, gaskets, and crystals.

·        Source and install appropriate components, adhering to brand standards.

·        Ensure all completed repairs meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

·        Document all repairs and maintain service records.

·        Calibrate and maintain watchmaking tools and equipment.

·        Ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

·        Certification or formal training in watch repair (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

·        Proven experience in watch repair and maintenance.

·        Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

·        Strong knowledge of horology, watch mechanisms, and tools.

·        Proficiency with tools like loupes, screwdrivers, cleaning machines, and timing devices.

·        Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
