Bahrain Food Holding Company “BFHC”, established under Mumtalakat, recently held its inaugural board meeting to discuss the future goals and prospects of the company. Having consolidated Mumtalakat’s food sector assets under this vehicle, this marks a major strategic milestone to facilitate future collaboration and integration prospects, whilst also harnessing Bahraini expertise in this field. During the meeting, Sami Zainal was elected as Vice Chairman, and Wael Itani was named as the interim CEO of BFHC, while still serving as CEO of General Poultry Company (GPC). عقدت شركة غذاء البحرين القابضة "غذاء"، التابعة لشركة ممتلكات، مؤخراً اجتماع مجلس إدارتها الأول والذي تم خلاله مناقشة الأهداف والخطط المستقبلية للشركة. حيث يعد توحيد أصول ممتلكات العاملة في القطاع الغذائي تحت مظلة "غذاء" خطوة استراتيجية هامة من شأنها المساهمة في تعزيز آفاق التعاون والتكامل المستقبلي فيما بينها، إلى جانب بناء وتطوير الخبرات البحرينية المحلية في هذا المجال وتم خلال الاجتماع انتخاب سامي زينل نائباً لرئيس مجلس الإدارة، كما تم تعيين وائل عيتاني رئيساً تنفيذياً لشركة غذاء بصفة مؤقتة، وذلك إلى جانب منصبه الحالي كرئيس تنفيذي للشركة العامة للدواجن https://lnkd.in/dttn2jRe
