As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, BENEFIT organized a series of fact checking and information verification workshops. في إطار التزامها الراسخ بمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية، نظمت شركة بنفت، الشركة الرائدة في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية وخدمة المعاملات المالية الإلكترونية في مملكة البحرين، سلسلة من ورش العمل حول فحص الحقائق وتدقيق المعلومات. وقد أقيمت ورش العمل بالتعاون مع جمعية العلاقات العامة البحرينية (BPRA) وأدارها الصحفي البحريني غسان الشهابي، وذلك ضمن مشروع مختبر الشبكة العربية لمدققي المعلومات التابع للشبكة العربية لمدققي المعلومات بدعم من مبادرة أخبار غوغل. وفي هذا الصدد، قالت السيدة حنان عبدالله حسن، مدير العلاقات العامة والاتصال المؤسسي في شركة بنفت: "تأتي سلسلة ورش العمل التي تشرفنا بإستضافتها لمواجهة القضايا الهامة المتعلقة بالمعلومات الخاطئة أو المضللة والتي تمثل تحديًا كبيرًا للمجتمعات والشركات. ومن خلال تزويد المشاركين بالأدوات والمعرفة الضرورية التي تساعدهم على تحديد المعلومات الخاطئة والتعامل معها، فإننا نستهدف تعزيز قدرتهم على تصفح المعلومات والحد من آثار استخدام المعلومات الخاطئة." وأضافت: "بينما نشهد المزيد من التطورات التكنولوجية، خاصة مع دمج الذكاء الاصطناعي في مختلف القطاعات، يصبح من المهم أن ندرك إمكانية اساءة استخدام هذه التطورات لأغراض ضارة. فمع امتلاك أغلبية الناس الآن هواتف ذكية وزيادة نشاطهم على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، فإنهم أصبحوا أكثر عرضة للاحتيال والاستغلال. وتلتزم شركة بنفت بتعزيز الوعي والمساهمة بدور فعال في التعامل مع المعلومات الخاطئة والمضللة من خلال مبادرات مثل هذه الورش التعليمية." لقراءة المزيد الرجاء زيارة للرابط ادناه https://shorturl.at/lfuJb The workshops were held in collaboration with the Bahrain Public Relations Association (BPRA) and led by Bahraini Journalist Ghassan Al Shehabi as part of the AFCN FactLab project of the Arab Network for Information Verifiers, with the support of the Google News Initiative. Hanan Abdulla Hasan, Manager of PR and Communications at BENEFIT commented, “These workshops are designed to address the critical issue of misinformation, which poses significant challenges for societies and entities by spreading confusion and misunderstanding. By equipping participants with the essential tools and knowledge to identify and counteract false information, we aim to enhance their ability to navigate and mitigate the effects of disinformation.” She added, “As we continue to experience a remarkable technological revolution, particularly with the pervasive integration of artificial intelligence across sectors, it is crucial to recognize that these advancements can be misused for malicious purposes.
